Printing on the Best Recycled Papers

Over the past few decades, Ecoprint has been on a constant search to find the best recycled paper with the least environmental impact. On several occasions, we've prompted paper mills to create innovative papers. We've been a beta-test site for some manufacturers. We've imported papers from overseas just so we could stock them for our customers. We'll go to the ends of the Earth to find or create papers that yield the most environmental printing available!

For years we have carried our own paper that is 100% postconsumer waste (PCW) recycled fiber and process chlorine free (PCF). Ecoprint Offset 100% PCW/PCF is available in a 60# white and cream and 70# opaque white text weights, and an 80# cover weight. It has remarkable environmental specifications yet is quite economical.

We also offer several grades in matte and coated sheets, and rag bond quality paper, for special applications. All of these are between 50% to 100% postconsumer recycled fiber-and PCF, thus eliminating the production of highly toxic dioxin in manufacturing.

Ecoprint has also promoted tree-free papers made from alternative plant fibers like Kenaf. The Kenaf plant can be grown throughout the American South and West, produces up to five times more pulp per acre than trees, and can be converted into paper without use of environmentally harmful chlorine. Other papers promoted by Ecoprint include those containing industrial hemp, wheat and rice straw waste, and recycled cotton fiber.

We are an FSC Certified Printer

There are some customers who want to display the Forest Stewardship Council symbol when they use FSC-certified papers. Ecoprint is an FSC certified printer, so just let us know if you require use of the logo on your project.
